Is there a drug for premature ejaculation?

Introduction

Simple answer is no. There are currently no drugs that exist that can cure premature ejaculation – There are however pills that may temporarily help to make you last a little longer in bed and these are called ‘delay pills’.

The simple reason why there is no such drug is because premature ejaculation is typically dysfunction and not an illness or disease. The majority of sufferers experience PE due to issues such as stress or anxiety which are related to the brain, not a physical issue within.

The Prolong Device is currently the only clinically proven medical device that exists and unlike delay pills, the results are permanent and best of all, there are no side effects whereas delay pills can cause side effects like headaches, dizziness and in rare cases even cause erection problems.

Unfortunately, there are plenty of ‘premature ejaculation drugs’ available to buy online and even ones that claim to cure PE which sadly means a lot of sufferers will buy them hoping for a quick fix – The only way to actually treat premature ejaculation is something that can take time and you need to follow a program in order to stop it.

A study published by the NIH covered exactly this topic and they found that even in Germany, a doctor will prescribe you with an SSRI (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) called Dapoxetine but they only do this via “off-label” which essentially means that they are not approved for the purpose of premature ejaculation treatment and that this is only a temporary solution like all other PE drugs.

At Prolong, we are working hard to make sure that the device is available to all sufferers around the world but like any medical treatment, this takes a lot of time.

We are currently working with some of the top Urologists in the United States with a plan to be able to offer the Prolong Device via your doctor just like any other prescription. For the rest of the world, local regulations means a lot of red tape to get past but once we have the go ahead, we firmly believe that the Prolong Device will be offered in all markets around the world and covered by the majority of health plans offered.

What is the best drug for premature ejaculation?

There isn’t one that isn’t just a form of a delay pill and not only are the results very short-lived but you have to plan sex around taking them as typically you’ll need to make sure you take your delay pill an hour before intercourse – How romantic!!

How is the Prolong Device so effective?

Our clinically proven medical device focuses on 4 specific goals in order to overcome premature ejaculation:

  • Increased stimulation
  • Desensitization
  • Improved awareness
  • Improved control

The specially designed program along with the device are what has been described as ‘The Gold Standard of Climax Control’ as the clinical data has clearly shown that it is not only the most effective treatment but also that the results are going to last.

As cited on many other medical website, there are 0 drugs approved by the FDA to treat premature ejaculation but as we proudly mention all over our website, the Prolong Device is indeed cleared by the FDA to treat premature ejaculation – Not only do we have the only cure but the FDA even had to create a whole new classification for our device, now known as De-Novo as can be seen here.

If you’re tired of trying delay pills or even being on antidepressants due to suffering from PE, you can buy the Prolong Device and in just 6 weeks, you’ll never have to think about taking delay pills ever again.
